
Percy Foster
Mr Foster has over 16 years experience in the waste sector in Ireland, Europe, and United Arab Emirates. As CEO for Cré – Composting and Anaerobic Digestion Association of Ireland from 2006 to the present, Percy has coordinated and managed the activities of the association, representing the composting and anaerobic digestion industry at Government and European level.
On a European level Mr. Foster was on the Board of the European Compost Network for three years and was a member of the Commission’s Technical Working Group on Waste Bref.
Mr. Foster has, from Institute of Technology Sligo, a Primary Honours Degree in ‘Environmental Science and Technology’ and a Master of Science (by research) on developing and designing a composting system for dairy sludge from Glanbia.
Mr. Foster has a strong interest in developing the biobased bioeconomy in Ireland and is currently championing a few initiatives to help develop the sector.
